Artist Born
I was born into a family of artists, and artmaking came naturally to me from an early age. With direction from my [art educator] mother, I pursued formal training in both Art (NC Central University) and Art Education (The Ohio State University). Though I was drawing in my crib, I give myself credit for a minimum of 30 years as an artist.
Educator Grown
With over 20 years of experience, I have taught in university, K-12 public schools, community spaces, and private settings. My heart is in working with adults who are seeking clarity, renewal, and confidence through creativity.
Designer Bred
After years in the classroom, I pursued a third degree in Digital Teaching & Learning from NC State University to develop online art courses; this path unexpectedly launched my design career. Over 15 years, I've helped universities, nonprofits, and small business owners bring their ideas to life through thoughtful website design, engaging online course delivery, and in-person learning experiences.
